  • Susan Roe
    President

    Employed as an Assistant Manager at Decatur True Value Hardware for 27 years. Committee member - Decatur Sculpture Tour for 4 years. Member of North Adams Arts Council since 2005.

  • Mary Montgomery-Byer
    Vice President

    Mary earned her BA in Fine Art in 2000. She received her BA in Arts Education K-12 in 2001. Mary has had a lifelong love of the arts and has been involved in many solo and group shows. Currently, she curates the Art Exhibits at the Decatur City Hall. Mary teaches art at Zion Lutheran School.

  • Jennifer Huss
    Treasurer

    Jennifer graduated in 2001 w/BFA in Interior Design, minor in Business. She worked for Merillat Cabinet Corporate Offices as kitchen/bath designer as well as an on-staff designer for two different builders. She provided private consultations at Bernhaus Furniture to help with clients design needs and designed furniture showroom.

  • Dawn Johnson
    Secretary

    Dawn holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education, has spent several years working in the music departments of both Adams Central Community School and South Adams School. An experienced vocal instructor, Dawn has taught voice from individuals, to large choirs. She is involved in children's ministry and worship arts.

    Claudia has been with the NAAC board through our first year.

Classes

North Adams Arts Council is committed to providing the community with quality programming in the arts.
Our classes are designed to encourage making, appreciating, and thinking about art. Our programs foster imagination and encourage exploration of personal connections with materials and ideas. We encourage you to register early to reserve a place for you or your young artist. A one week pre registration is required for all classes.

"Hat's Off to Sculpture".

Join the fun and create a decorated hat to wear to the Decatur Sculpture Tour unveiling on Friday June 9, 2017. 

The Mad Hatter's Tea Party is held at the Riverside Center on east Monroe St.in Decatur, Tea, Coffee and Hors d' oeuvres served. Please feel free to dress for a Festively Flamboyant Tea Party or a character from Alice in Wonderland, or come as you are,  it's up to you.
